About Tom
After graduating with a first class honours degree in Games Art from Staffordshire University in 2022, Tom has worked formerly as a self-employed consultant and latterly in full-time employment capacity at Jayva.
As Technical Assistant, Tom utilises the key skills gained from his university studies, previous sales and hospitality roles, and earlier experience at Jayva – such as IT proficiency, organisational, leadership, teamworking, problem solving, time management, project planning and coordination, and autonomy, to name a few.
Tom has responsibility for technical aspects of clients’ software-related projects, whether it’s assisting during new system onboarding, or offering helpdesk-type support for existing tools, or anything in the middle.
Many clients know Tom already from his consultancy period, adding a reassuring element of familiarity to their new-and-ongoing, short- and long-term technology projects.
In his free time, Tom loves to go to the gym, spend time with his friends, play hockey, follow Manchester United Football Club, watch films, listen to music and travel the world. He’s played hockey for over 10 years at various levels and clubs, prior to university as well as during and afterwards.
