Meet Sarah Singleton: bringing fresh perspective and operational excellence to Jayva

We’re delighted to welcome Sarah Singleton as our new Global Project Operations Lead.

While Sarah is new to the legal technology sector, she brings with her nearly two decades of experience working within education, where she built a strong reputation for organisation, communication and leadership in complex, fast-paced environments.

A career built around organisation, planning and people

Sarah spent almost 15 years in her last post, where she held a variety of leadership and co-ordination responsibilities alongside teaching.

Working in a setting requiring constant prioritisation, accountability and adaptability, Sarah delivered high-quality outcomes while managing multiple deadlines, stakeholders and operational demands – including analysing data, informing target-setting and developing clear action plans.

Additionally, Sarah spent 10 years as head of Mathematics, regularly reviewing new initiatives, developing training programmes and ensuring consistently high standards across the school community through collaboration, innovation and reflection.

These experiences helped develop many of the skills that now underpin her work at Jayva – including attention to detail, identifying (and rectifying) inefficiencies, multi-tasking, communication and the ability to quickly understand and improve processes.

“I’ve always enjoyed analysing procedures and systems, and ascertaining how they can be streamlined, connected and improved,” Sarah explains. “The organisational side of the role really appealed to me because it aligns closely with the things I see as my strengths.”

Supporting smoother project delivery

At Jayva, Sarah’s focus is creating the structure and oversight that supports successful project delivery across the business.

Working closely with project managers, consultants and trainers, she makes sure projects run as smoothly and efficiently as possible behind the scenes – thus enabling delivery teams to focus their attention on supporting clients optimally.

Even within her first few weeks, Sarah has already been pinpointing opportunities to strengthen ways of working.

“I think coming from a different sector gives you a fresh pair of eyes,” she says. “Bringing experience from a different setting allows you to make new suggestions because you’re looking at things from a slightly different viewpoint.”

Outside of work

Based in Chorley, Sarah is a keen traveller, reader and owner of a miniature Dachshund called Chorizo. We’re thrilled to have Sarah as part of the Jayva team and look forward to the positive impact she’ll make for colleagues, clients and partners.
