Exciting growth for Jayva’s global operations

  • Jayva MidAtlantic LLC, trading as LEAP MidAtlantic, opened in Washington DC.

  • Nicola Moore-Miller becomes Global Chief Executive Officer overseeing Jayva’s entire operations in the UK and US.

  • Four existing employees are promoted as part of Jayva’s leadership programme.

  • Strategic hire of William Penrice as Global Business Development Director responsible for Jayva’s international sales and marketing strategy.

Specialist consultancy and training provider to the legal sector, Jayva, has undergone its second major overseas expansion by opening Jayva MidAtlantic LLC in Washington DC this month.

Jayva US Inc first launched in America in 2018 partnering with LEAP Legal Software exclusively throughout New England but also covering enterprise project management services for LEAP’s client base across the whole of the US. Jayva’s certified consultancy support comprises complete implementation services for law offices and attorneys migrating to LEAP’s cloud case management and legal accounts system.

The new Jayva MidAtlantic division is the result of continued strengthening of its strategic relationship with LEAP and increased take up of LEAP’s software across the Eastern regions of North America.

To support its growth internally, Jayva has undergone an extensive lateral hiring and promotion programme which sees the following staffing changes:

  • Nicola Moore-Miller from Managing Director to Global Chief Executive Officer;

  • Susan Rodgers from Training & Projects Manager to Chief Operating Officer of Jayva UK Ltd;

  • Matthew Dagle from Implementation Consultant to Chief Operating Officer of Jayva US Inc;

  • Nicola Jones from Accounts Specialist & Implementation Consultant to Director of Project Management of Jayva US Inc;

  • Robert Bailey from Implementation Consultant & Project Manager to Chief Operating Officer of Jayva MidAtlantic LLC.

With a renewed focus on consolidating its entire operations and prioritising the global sales and marketing strategy, Jayva has appointed William Penrice as Global Business Development Director to complete the senior leadership team, taking Jayva’s overall headcount to 18 from the business’s humble beginnings as a sole entrepreneurship enterprise in 2014.

Nicola Moore-Miller, Jayva’s founder, says:

“The last year has brought about exponential growth at Jayva. Bearing in mind the impact of the pandemic these past fourteen months, this achievement has been extraordinary. We now have multiple operations in both the UK and US, providing new services and new products, including the development of our own compliance application. It’s been an amazing journey with lots of blood, sweat and tears shed in order to get to where we are now. It’s a 100% team effort and I’m eternally grateful to our employees, partners and associates who’ve made it all possible. Now it’s time to consolidate and ensure we’re operating optimally as a global entity, consistently delivering exceptional levels of client service.

“Seeing our leadership team evolve has been so rewarding. Working with Athena Professional to create a suitable structure, devise a leadership development programme and fine-tune our business objectives has been a truly enlightening experience. The changes made in our organisation will enable us to drive the business forward even further. From a personal perspective, it’s exciting to think that, after seven years of being at the coalface, I’ve now got the opportunity to work ‘on the business’ as opposed to ‘in the business’, including mentoring team members as they embrace their new positions.

“I wish everyone at Jayva the best of luck. In addition to the leadership team, the wider team has grown, and further promotions have been possible, empowering people to be the ‘experts in their fields’. I’m absolutely confident that we have the right people in the right roles within our revised organisational structure and I’m enthusiastic about entering this next phase in Jayva’s onwards journey. Together, we can realise our ambitions to be recognised as the ‘go to’ legal consultancy provider throughout the UK and US. As law firms are under constant pressure to deliver legal services more efficiently and effectively, our partnership with LEAP gives them the best technology with outstanding professional services with which to achieve their goals.”
