Welcoming Ashling Walker: Strengthening Jayva’s in-country support for Irish law firms
We’re delighted to welcome Ashling Walker as the newest member of our growing Irish team. Her appointment marks an exciting step forward in our commitment to providing deeper, more responsive and more localised support to law firms across Ireland.
Over recent years, Ireland has become one of our fastest growing, dynamic markets, with law firms of all sizes seeking smarter, efficient ways of working by maximising, customising and mastering their software.
With this growth has come a clear message from our clients: in-country expertise matters. Law firms want reassurance that the legal technology consultancy, training and optimisation support they receive is grounded in an understanding of how Irish practices operate – and that help is available when and how they need it.
Ashling’s arrival helps us deliver exactly that.
A legal professional who knows the inside of a law firm – first-hand
Ashling brings more than two decades of direct legal experience, having begun her career in 2003 and worked as a Legal Executive across multiple law firms. This hands-on background gives her a unique advantage in the legal technology space. She understands the pressures of fee earners, the management and reporting requirements of leadership teams, the realities of matter and accounts management, the demands placed on support staff, and the day-to-day challenges that technology must ease – not complicate.
Her experience means that when she advises a law firm on workflows, user adoption, system configuration or smarter processes, she does so through the lens of someone who’s lived those processes herself. This practical insight is invaluable to clients seeking solutions that are not just technically sound, but operationally meaningful.
In the words of Ashling herself, “Having spent my career working in various sized law firms, I know first hand how vital it is that technology truly supports the people using it. I’m excited to join Jayva and work closely with practices across Ireland to help them get the very best from their systems, reminding them that ‘I’ve been there done that’”.
Specialist knowledge, expertly applied
Ashling also brings strong academic credentials to her new role, holding a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Institute of Technology Carlow and a Law Society of Ireland Diploma. Her blend of academic intelligence, technical knowledge, legal training and practitioner experience ensures clients receive balanced, relevant and high-quality support.
More boots on the ground, more support when it matters
Ashling’s appointment forms part of our wider strategy to develop our on-the-ground presence in Ireland. As our client base expands, so does the need for accessible consultancy and training that fits seamlessly around the realities of busy legal practices.
With Ashling joining our team, law firms across Ireland gain:
More availability for in-person consultancy and training for software implementations.
Quicker response times for technical support requests pre, during and post roll-out.
Region-specific wisdom that aligns with Irish legal culture, regulations and workflows.
Continuity and reassurance from a qualified, dedicated, in-country specialist.
A trusted partner who understands both legal practice and legal technology.
A valuable addition to Jayva’s Irish presence
Ashling is proudly Ireland born and bred, and her grasp of the local legal landscape adds further strength to our footprint in the country. We’re thrilled to have her on board and to continue enhancing the level of service we provide to Irish law firms by supporting legal teams with the expertise, training and technology guidance they need – delivered in the way they need it, at the time they need it.
Welcome to the team, Ashling. We’re excited for what’s ahead.
