Business Admin/IT apprenticeship opportunity

We’re looking for a school leaver to join our small company based in Gosforth, Cumbria as a Business Admin/IT apprentice.

What you’ll be doing

The apprenticeship role will include:

  • Updating our client database and customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Installing software on our clients’ PCs remotely using screen-sharing technology.

  • Collecting reports and back ups of database content from our clients’ PCs remotely using screen-sharing technology.

  • Answering incoming support calls from our clients on software-related queries.

  • Assisting our project coordinators with scheduling and administration of project tasks.

  • Importing and exporting data from clients’ practice management and legal accounting systems.

  • Writing JavaScript and macros in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Plus, general business administration tasks.

For all of the above duties, training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship position, in both an on-the-job and classroom-learning capacity.
