Training services

The third of our services, training, places our experienced trainers centre stage, delivering bespoke learning programmes to each individual client’s requirements in a format best suited to their ways of working, be it classroom-based, on-the-job, instructor-led, virtual or blended training.

Having moved the majority of our training from face-to-face to online methods over the past three years, we’ve become more sustainable as a company and we’re able to pass substantial cost savings onto our clients.

Training can hone in on a single particular, job-specific element of case management and legal accounting software, for example the cashiering function, or cover the entirety of a system’s features both at the point of initial rollout and on a follow-up or refresher premise further down the line.

Types of services

  • Legal accounts, case and document manage-ment training

Have you selected new software to streamline all your business processes? Not everyone is going to use the software in the same way. Teams access different interfaces or use the software to serve separate functions. Training can make or break an implementation. It’s not just a thing that happens; it requires careful planning to maximise the return on your investment. A robust and well-considered training plan is essential to get end users to engage with new processes.

  • Microsoft Office training

Partnering closely with Integrated Office Solutions, we customise your Microsoft environment and train on best usage both across the Microsoft Office suite and within your integrated practice management software. Microsoft is a prime example of universally implemented technology that’s under-appreciated and under-utilised by the majority. That’s why we’re helping law firms to realise the full potential of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook for major efficiency and productivity improvements.

  • Super user training

One of the keys to the success of your software is how well your staff use it. Over time, your practice staff’s expertise in software can gradually weaken. With super user training, we can create a bank of expert users to act as technology champions to new and infrequent users, thereby giving a consistently high level of software knowledge across your law firm.

  • Getting the most from remote meetings

Remote meetings and training sessions are often more time and cost effective for busy legal professionals in busy law firms. Driven by Covid, we’ve moved from face-to-face to mostly online delivery, simultaneously becoming more sustainable and passing cost savings onto you – our clients.

  • Automation of processes including templates and workflow design and training

If your case management software has workflow capabilities, it’s a useful guiding support for superior case handling and progression by your client-facing teams, with triggers activating reliably so that stuff happens when it’s supposed to happen. By mapping your workflow from the word ‘go’ with templates built in, your software will perfectly mirror how your firm works as well as introduce standardisation and uniformity to everything you do.

  • “It is beyond any shadow of doubt that Jayva has wonderful trainers/instructors, and all other team members who have complete command and grip on their skills and knowledge.”
