About Karina
Manchester born and bred Karina started out her accounts administration career within the automotive and supermarket chain industries before moving into the legal sector as Jayva’s Global Accounts Administrator. Providing valuable support across all our global markets, Karina is one of the primary authorities for Jayva’s accounts payable and receivable.
Karina applies her proven bookkeeping skills gained from managing purchase and sales ledgers, undertaking credit control and handling general management accounts duties in her former roles to her current position at Jayva.
Amongst Karina’s many responsibilities are processing payments and deposits, maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts, recording monies in and out, reconciling accounts and addressing discrepancies, and reporting on financial status. Ultimately, it’s Karina’s job to ensure financial transactions happen in a timely, accurate and secure manner.
On top of this, Karina is our resident Xero expert who’s Xero certified and manages Jayva’s Xero projects in their entirety, from initial introduction call, to configuration, to training.
Outside of work, animal-lover Karina is the proud owner of three dogs and enjoys taking them for long walks around surrounding lakes and reservoirs. Her weekends are often spent with her daughter holidaying in Wales during which watching films together is a favourite pastime. Holidays feature heavily in Karina’s life, with family trips abroad and friend weekends away being popular options in her busy social calendar.
