Anthony Rozzi moves to LEAP and discovers friends for life in Jayva Global – LEAP’s certified consultancy partner

When criminal, bankruptcy, probate and civil litigation attorney Anthony Rozzi needed new technology to solve his rising costs and growing work volume headaches, he turned to LEAP.

An unexpected, and welcome, addition to the software installation project was LEAP’s certified consultancy partner, Jayva Global. Quickly overcoming his initial reluctance about a third party’s involvement, Anthony is a steadfast advocate of Jayva’s ‘dizzying’ legal, accounting and software expertise, and impressive project management, consultancy and training services – all of which now come with the Rozzi stamp of approval.

The client

Attorney Anthony Rozzi is a well-established legal practitioner, having gained his law license in 2005. As a self-proclaimed technophile, Anthony’s no stranger to legal software either.

Entering the 17th year of his career, Anthony has been pleasantly surprised by the resoundingly positive experience of Jayva Global’s support throughout his migration to LEAP Legal Software.

“LEAP is a great case management product, and Jayva is a great consultancy and training service,” explains Anthony. “Both companies benefit from the reputation of the other and, combined, they’re a strong partnership.

“I’ve been blown away by the whole software switchover process and it’s all credit to the amazing program put together by the Jayva-LEAP team. Where software’s concerned, if I’m left alone in the woods, I can find my way out. Upfront, I didn’t think I needed any support. In hindsight, I’ve fallen in love with everyone at Jayva and can’t imagine having completed this project without them.”

The original solution

In the course of building his law office into a thriving business, Anthony has “more than his [my] fair share of clients”. His heavier workload caused Anthony to lean further on his case management software’s automation features. His previous system’s supplier advised the additional purchase of a so-called document management application, leading to disappointing functionality and doubling costs.

“The steep rise in software fees was the first shock,” continues Anthony. “What was originally charged at $29 monthly became $90 with an extra $90 for the secondary software. The lackluster features were the second shock. Contrary to what I expected from these high prices, I was gaining nothing more than a document storage facility.

“I’d used my incumbent solution for a lengthy period but it was time for change. I did my research, discovered the LEAP-Jayva powerhouse and the rest is history.”

The new solution

At the beginning of his transfer-to-LEAP journey, Anthony was introduced to Jayva. Reticent about the involvement of third-party consultants and trainers to project manage the implementation and roll out, Anthony describes his early concerns and how they were quickly dispelled:

“I believe we live in an era where two trends exist in tandem. Customer service is in a decline, and the recipients of customer service expect more and demand more. We’re increasingly becoming a ‘robot world’ where we speak only to machines and good-old-fashioned customer service has gone.

“I’m delighted to report that, with Jayva, this is absolutely not the case. In fact, Jayva delivered such an intense and nurturing level of support, I had to ask its consultants and trainers to occasionally calm their jets.

“I was worried about the Jayva element. It turned out there was no reason to be. The team at Jayva did a superb job of coordinating the many threads of the project – from Joe performing multiple computer downloads, to Lorna teaching LEAP’s capabilities, to Nicola sharing her vast accounting expertise. It was a truly amazing feat, surpassed my wildest expectations and I can’t be complimentary enough about Jayva. I’d hire them all in a heartbeat!”

The benefits

Anthony is fully operational on LEAP, integrated with Office 365, and has the reassurance of Jayva’s ongoing support:

“Having recently inputted my last client into LEAP, I’m really happy with the comprehensive records and database I’ve built. It means that, from November 1st, I’m putting out bills from the LEAP platform. Jayva’s offered to help, should any of my invoicing not go to plan. I’m not a finance specialist and Jayva makes me dizzy with its accounting proficiency. So, it’s comforting that Jayva’s got my back.”

Commenting on specific features within LEAP, Anthony outlines the advantages of the cutting-edge toolkit now at his fingertips:

“Straight up, I’m capturing more case information than ever before because the dashboard prompts me to. This greater depth of detail assists matter progress in a big way. As do the workflow, document assembly and automation aspects.

“LEAP’s tagline, ‘everything you need to make your firm more money’, is certainly a truism, however, other benefits are just as important – such as more ease, less stress, more confidence and less mistakes. I’d actually rather earn 75 cents than a dollar knowing I’ve got the right product and the right support. My goal is to be a good lawyer. LEAP and Jayva allow me to achieve this ambition.”

In his concluding statement, Anthony sums up his feelings towards Jayva:

“I arrived at the LEAP switchover project fairly resolute in my opinion that ‘service with a smile’ has gone forever. With Jayva, I’ve been proven wrong.

“I call myself a blue-collar person in a white-collar industry. I speak the truth always. If I wasn’t happy, I’d be honest about it. Similarly, I like to give praise where it’s due. Jayva puts its money where its mouth is. As a small team of people mostly from the North of England, Jayva’s ethos totally mirrors mine. It’s one of the reasons why we gelled instantly. My only complaint is that I can’t simply drive to England and buy the team lunch!”
